Howdy all. Long time no speak. It’s been a busy few weeks. (Or two months, time does seem to fly away from us). Life has trucked along nicely. I have had two more infusions and both were fine, only a little headache one of the days after. Nothing to stress about. If this is what it settles to then I am a happy man.
Aside from this my family is good, growing fast with Grace nine next month!! It’s a pleasure seeing them grow and not something I necessarily thought was on the cards a few years back.
Additionally my goal of reading a 100 books this year is going well. I have polished off 29 and think I can get this licked, even if I ease up a little. My Spanish is also going well, two and a bit years on, and I have an intensive course coming up I September for a week. I’m semi fluent now, so hoping another year or two gets me there. Its a little tough without being in Spain, but work is being done.
Anyway the one thing I could do with is a few more clients. We arent in bad shape at work, in fact we are running better than ever, but it remains tough to get new clients. For those of you who don’t know I own and run an IT support company with Patrick. We provide day to day support for all companies between five and two hundred employees, as well as IT security and Services. Basically a one stop shop for IT. (Except websites and coding)
So the question really is, and I apologize if it’s a bit cheeky, is there anyone you know who might need IT support. A friend of a friends company. Someone you work with, or even your own company. Any referrals are greatly appreciated and would really help. We can service anywhere now with our UK on the site connections and can do a benchmark and audit to see how your set up is. Most of our clients come through referrals.
As I said I know a lot of people are going through hard times and we aren’t, but I’d be much more comfortable if we had even three or four more clients in case any more of ours go. (And we have had a couple of them shut up shop). (Any notes can be sent to me on Facebook or on Marcus.evans@nutbourne.com and any would be great!
Anyway that was left field and I thank you. This may be the only time I talk about my business after 14 years of running it with Patrick. (who himself was on the BBC the other day but doesn’t talk about it. Maybe he should get his own blog…? ;).
I’m please that the health remains good 11 years (12 in June) since the big C bomb, and I hope anyone who reads this and had a similar condition can take comfort. You can live a full life with cancer, even after chemo and nearly dying. So keep on trucking. :).
