Hello reader. Thank you for popping by. I have had a week of two halves when it comes to the media. I have been doing some interviews for local papers to try and get some focus on both my blog and my book. its difficult to know what angle to take so it was an interesting interview all told.

One of the articles that came out on Friday last week was pretty depressing. This was in the Halstead Gazette and was pretty downbeat. It was completely accurate in terms of quoting, but wasn’t what I had wanted said at all. It was largely my fault though as I gave the interview and answered questions without thinking how it would come across. See this article below (and feel free to comment).

I then called the journalist on the Friday and we had a long chat. I pointed out my aims in blogging and publishing my book (Most of the proceeds to charity, check it out here. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Robert-Mr-Marcus-Evans/dp/1495975606 ) I have raised over £500 so far so please buy one if you haven’t done so yet :).

Then she went on holiday and I heard nothing else. That was until my cousin posted a photo of the article which had gone out in the Daily Gazette, which was the polar opposite and much more in line with what I had hoped it would say. A little hagiographic in the headline, but very flattering if nothing else :). You can see the article here direct from the papers website!
