Hi everyone. The dust has settled since my various ultrasounds and what not’s, but other than being tired, it’s all been going pretty well. Work is busy, as always, and the kids are becoming fractionally less of a handful as they get a little older.
It occurred to me that last year I did a 24 hour walk to celebrate five years of survival after being diagnosed with cancer. That was a massive effort and I’m still really pleased with the result, around £7k raised from 51 walkers. (thanks again all!!)
This year, as a non significant number I wanted to do something a bit lower key
So accordingly to celebrate six years of not being dead I have organised (with Clive Wells… Well he actually did most of the organising so far…) A gig with a couple of bands at a venue in London. This will be on behalf of Splenic Lymphoma and whilst it is free to enter, donations will be greatly received inside.
It’s on the 28th of September at a bar/restaurant called Erebuni https://www.erebuni.co.uk/. The main act will be MistyFive and we will likely have another couple of acts on too!
If you can’t come, and I know how busy things can be, but enjoy my blogged ramblings then please give at a just giving page I have set up for the event.

I’m trying to raise £1k for a great cause, and also just because I think it’s a nice thing to do. :).
Anyway, let me know if you can come.
Otherwise I hope you all have a nice summer. I’m looking forward to my lack of blood tests before December and generally hoping for a good second part of the year.
I hope you have a brilliant one too!
