It’s been a busy thirty days for the 41 walkers and 1 dancer. We have managed to smash the target of 4010 and came in at a mighty 5842 miles. This would get from my house (in Essex) all the way to Japan directly or if we walked through Mongolia and into China.

It’s a great feat done by wonderful people. There have been some standout stories. The lady who managed fifty miles either side of an operation. Someone who gave birth and still did miles. Just a wonderful group.

From my side I managed 248 miles in the 30 days, or around 8.26 miles a day. This has been hard work to fit in and involved a lot of extra walks with some of the walking gang (especial thanks to Tom Strange who went on multiple walks with me and Sam and Gemma for recruiting four others each).

We made some new friends too, with people in Bristol I didn’t know putting in miles as well. Also my kids did more than 100 miles each.

So all in all a wonderful month of cooperation. More importantly we have raised over £8600 for Blood Cancer UK, with some still to come in. I am short of my personal goal so all donations would be gratefully received, now the dust has settled to https://www.justgiving.com/page/marcus-evans-1683046640353

Next week, some blood test results. I still have cancer (I assume ;)) . So I will let you know how it’s going. Maybe this is finally the end of blood transfusions!!

Thanks again everyone for all your help!
