Hi folks. Breaking all records here (for laziness) it has been four months since I posted. In that four months life has happened, but actually nothing too medical related, which makes a wonderful change of pace from the last year or two.

One piece of good news though. I finally got discharged from the chest clinic after my pneumonia a year and a half ago. They say all looking good.

I have also been put back on watch and wait. Doctor Hodson says every six months is now sufficient for a meeting and blood tests, so accordingly I’ll be going to see them in Jan.

This is great news and puts me back to where I was a year or two after diagnosis, and six years before treatment.

Finally my bloods are looking good. All my white cells are back to normal parameters, and they took a while to recover after chemo. So I respond like a normal person (ISH) to illness.

Thanks again for all of your support over the last few years. Endless lifts, food cooked or bought for us and just general kindness. We really do and did appreciate it all.

So all in all quite a positive post before Xmas. Not all I have to do is buy some presents for the six and seven year old, sort out elf on the shelf, buy other presents, navigate the Christmas met up season etc. But in the grand scheme of things I will most certainly take that!
